
Well, here we are - day 14! I'm really glad I decided to keep on going - the scale is slowly but surely dropping and it sure is fun to look forward to that number every morning! I know without a doubt that I am 100% on the diet so there is no "I'm not going to weigh because I blew it last night" sort of mentality. I was so tired of that!
This morning I weighed in at....140.0! Oh, so so close! I have to confess that I immediately stripped down 100% and stood on the scale again. 141.5! Ha ha, lol. Dumb scale. So I was like what the heck??? And stood on it again 2 more times and both times received the reassuring 140.0 again. Darn, too bad I couldn't get rid of just one more ounce! Maybe tomorrow I'll see that golden 139 number.

Yet another successful day goes down in the books! Today I ran into a bit of trouble because I only had four bananas left! I'm starting to get hungry now and my smoothies are gone...and I'm not planning on going to bed soon. I'll probably just drink water for the rest of the night. Bananas are what makes me full the most, and they were sadly lacking today, so my smoothie today consisted of:
3 cups of water
1 big head of spinach
1/2 bunch of parsley
1/2 small avocado
2T. bee pollen
2T. ground flax
4 bananas
3 cups blueberries
1 lb frozen strawberries
3 cups of zucchini
I was sorely tempted to have some popcorn tonight!! I was making some for the kids while they watched a movie and it looked so good. But then I realized I was hungry, drank a smoothie, and it vanished. Nice! I love that about the green smoothies - probably the only way I've been able to stick with it for so long.
